Are your normal coping strategies and support system not quite enough anymore?

You might even feel like those don’t exist right now. If you have been feeling overwhelmed, isolated or anxious about how life has been going recently, you are doing the right thing in reaching out.

What is the solution?

  • The goal is to reduce the intensity and frequency of how your emotions are impacting you. I want you to feel more confident and better prepared to manage emotions when they show up.

I try to keep it to no more than 1-3 new strategies each time. I often send an email after with videos, worksheets and audio guides to help practice between meetings.

If they work, GREAT! If not, we will pivot and try something different.

  • Do you feel like you are on a hamster wheel and can’t get off? The goal here is to increase awareness and insight to get to the root of the problem.

We will talk about how and when similar experiences have shown up in the past. With a better understanding of where these learned patters come from, we can start to notice them and change how you respond moving forward.

I will help you in connecting some dots and making suggestions on how you can start to build new healthier responses.

  • Now you have the skills and awareness to see when problematic thoughts or actions are trying to creep in. What next? The goal is to focus on long-term coping and reducing your vulnerability to emotions.

We will work on rounding out your coping and supports to help not only in response to emotions, but anticipating when you might need to do more for yourself. Some of this will be refining daily or weekly habits, other times it will be looking ahed to things that you know will increase your emotions.
